The Origin Story
Respawnsibilities didn’t begin as a pitch—it started with a personal passion. I’m Aarush Anand, a high school student and the founder of Respawnsibilities. Ever since I was young, I’ve wanted to have a pet. Like many aspiring pet owners, I found myself reading about different breeds, their behaviour, dietary needs, grooming requirements, medical issues, and how best to raise them. The deeper I dove, the more complicated it became. I realized that despite living in an age where information is abundant, pet-related services and guidance are scattered across different sources—some outdated, others untrustworthy. You could visit one site to find a vet, another for grooming tips, and yet another for shopping. What was missing was a central platform that consolidated all these aspects while offering reliable, personalized insights. That frustration led me to ask a simple question: What if I built an app that gave pet owners everything they need—from local services to breed-specific care—under one roof? That one question sparked a journey. Respawnsibilities was born from the desire to make pet care smarter, more connected, and personalized to each animal’s unique traits.

The Role of Trusity and TruNext
Transforming an idea into a real startup at my age might have seemed ambitious, but I was fortunate to have the support of Trusity—a platform that empowers student innovators through mentorship, structured programs, and real-world entrepreneurial experiences. Through their TruNext Incubator, Respawnsibilities was selected for support and officially incubated as a promising student-led startup. I received AED 10,000 in early-stage seed funding, allowing me to conduct research, build prototypes, and start validating the idea. More importantly, the incubator provided me with access to mentors, business coaches, and pitch training. Trusity didn’t just invest in the product—they believed in me as a young founder. With their help, I built out the business model, identified market needs, and received expert feedback that shaped the app’s current vision.
